Academic culture in the UK and UAE

There are some similarities between teaching in the UAE and in the United Kingdom. In the UAE the education ladder starts from kinder garden to elementary the further more primary and secondary after all that students can continue on with higher studies. In the UK the education pattern is different after the secondary school then they have A level or collages to finish before going to higher studies. In higher studies equivalents are the same in the UAE and in the UK they measure the study period by credits. Credits are the total study time of a student for a subject or a degree and credits varies from a subject to another.
